I have asked this before and I will ask it again! Who doesn’t love pizza? Why? What could possibly have happened to you? …Rhetorical questions… EVERYONE loves pizza! ♥

Vegan sweet potato crust pizza is nutritious, gluten free, dairy free and absolutely delicious! So even if you did have a legit reason not to love pizza, now you don’t!

The delightfully crisp, yet moist sweet potato crust is like icing on cake! It makes everything better!

Melted vegan cheese, filling crust, rich marinara sauce and fresh toppings make for the perfect pizza!

Vegan Sweet Potato Crust Pizza [Gluten Free]

Vegan sweet potato crust pizza is a Mediterranean style pizza that is healthy, nutritious and kid approved! Fresh organic ingredients do make all the difference in the world!

This recipe shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to prepare (yes, combined, the preparation and execution should not take more that 45′!).

Vegan sweet potato crust pizza is an easy go-to lunch or dinner for you, your family and friends! Perfect for parties and gatherings of any kind!

Delicious & Nutritious!

Sweet potatoes are a great source of dietary fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin B-6, magnesium and potassium! They are very filling and at 86cal per 100g, it’s a great choice for anyone who is watching their daily caloric intake!

Vegan sweet potato crust pizza is perfect for everyone! The health fanatic and the vegan junk food addict!

The chickpea flour on the other hand, contains approximately 22g of protein per 100g, great amounts of magnesium (41% DV) and iron (27% DV)!

Enough talking! Let’s get cookin’!

Ingredients (1 medium sized pizza – 6 pieces):

For the crust:

For the marinara:

Toppings (You can mix and match!):

  • 100g dairy free cheese, grated
  • 10 olives, cut in halves
  • 2 fresh tomatoes, in slices
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red onion



  • Boil sweet potatoes until soft. Drain and mash!
  • Add the chickpea flour to the sweet potato mixture along with the olive oil, salt and garlic powder. Knead and then mold the dough into a thin circular crust using a dough roller .
  • Place in the oven at 180 degrees C. for 12-15′
  • While your crust is cooking prepare your marinara. Add the tomato sauce to a bowl with the soy sauce and the rest of the spices and give it a good stir. Grate your dairy free cheese and cut your veggies.
  • Once your dough is ready, take it out of the oven, spread the marinara sauce evenly on the surface of the dough and add your vegan cheese and veggies.
  • Once again place in the oven for another 5-10 minutes

I am making this now and I think your medium sweet potatoes are much smaller than my sweet potatoes. I put a total of 3 cups of chickpea flour and mine is still stir-able. Help!!

I used 500g mashed sweet potatoes, (baked rather then boiled) to 200g Gluten-Free flour. Rolled 1/4 of dough to 8-inch. Baked 15 minutes then 15 minutes with toppings and 2 minutes under the broiler!
